3. Booking and Payment
- Booking: Clients must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. Misrepresentation of information may result in additional charges or cancellation of services.
- Payment Terms: Payment must be made as per the agreement. Deposits may be required to secure bookings.
- Cancellation Policy: Clients must notify us of cancellations at least 48 hours before the scheduled move to avoid cancellation fees.
4. Estimates and Additional Charges
- Estimates: Quotes provided are based on the information given by the client. Actual charges may vary if the scope of work changes.
- Additional Charges: Additional fees may apply for services such as packing, handling oversized items, or delays caused by the client.
5. Liability and Insurance
- Limited Liability: We take reasonable care to protect your belongings, but our liability is limited to the coverage provided in our standard insurance policy.
- Excluded Items: We are not liable for damages to items such as cash, jewelry, or valuable documents. Clients are advised not to include these items in their shipment.
- Insurance Options: Clients may opt for additional insurance coverage for high-value items.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Preparation: Clients must ensure that their belongings are packed and ready for transport unless packing services are included in the agreement.
- Access: Clients must provide safe and timely access to the pickup and drop-off locations.
- Prohibited Items: Clients must not include hazardous materials, perishable goods, or items restricted by law in their shipment.
7. Storage Services
- Storage Agreement: Storage services are subject to separate agreements specifying the terms of storage duration, fees, and access.
- Abandoned Property: Items left in storage beyond the agreed period without renewal may be considered abandoned and subject to disposal or auction.
8. Delays and Force Majeure
- Delays: While we strive to provide timely service, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather, or mechanical issues.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
9. Disputes and Claims
- Filing Claims: Clients must notify us of any loss or damage to their belongings within 48 hours of delivery. Claims filed after this period may not be honored.
- Resolution: We aim to resolve disputes amicably. If resolution is not possible, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Florida courts.
